Welcome to the Social Work Placement Page of the Wisdom Community Center (WCC) organization! We are a non-governmental organization that aims to improve the lives of people across the globe by offering support and aid to communities in need. Our mission is to create positive change in the world, one community at a time.

Making recovery reality

As a social work placement volunteer with WCC, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to make a real difference in the lives of people who need it the most. You will have the chance to engage in various social work activities, such as conducting community outreach programs, organizing charity events, and providing support to vulnerable members of society.

We are committed to providing our volunteers with a safe and supportive environment in which they can thrive. We offer comprehensive training, ongoing support, and a flexible schedule to ensure that our volunteers are able to make the most of their experience with us.

Immigration

Our immigration advisors offer expert guidance and support to individuals seeking information about visas, residency, and citizenship.



Debt And Finance

Our financial experts can provide you with the tools and resources you need to manage your money, reduce debt, and improve your financial health.



Counselling

We offer support and guidance to individuals and families dealing with mental health issues like anxiety, depression to trauma, and addiction.



Housing Advice

We can provide you with the information you need to find safe and affordable housing in the complex world of rental agreements and tenancy rights.

Our latest social placement events include a community clean-up day, where volunteers helped to clear litter and debris from local parks and streets, and a charity fundraising event, which raised thousands of dollars to support our global food bank and other humanitarian initiatives.
