It is interesting to know that when our minds are stayed on Jesus, every aspect of our lives reinforces His Word. The Word becomes the mirror that reflects in our daily activities. When we become Jesus addicts, we yearn for Him and our souls are fattened the more we draw closer to Him.

Today, we would be looking at lessons from another item in my kitchen. This time, the item in the limelight is the sieve. The sieve is an interesting item because it’s only used as a tool for distinction, separation and purification. It brings clarity and makes substance well pronounced.

There are different types of sieves used for different purposes such as diverse food produce. In terms of the components of sieve, some are made of metals whilst others are made of plastics. Either way, they serve the same purpose.
Lesson Number One: Know the distinction

What is the significance of the sieve to our Christian walk? We are supposed to be a sieve in the world of containers. We have to grow in our Christian walk such that we know how to detox from the things of the World.
Lesson Number Two: Be a Filter

At these end times, we must develop in our knowledge to filter through false teachings from Godly ministration. Do not allow heresy to make you lose your position in His kingdom. Do not compromise your faith.
Lesson Number Three: Do Not Compromise Your Standards

There is a purpose for the sieve in the body of Christ which is unique for its sole use. God made the sieve as a tool that distinguishes what is good from what is bad for the benefit of the kingdom. Sieve must distinguish themselves from other items in order to perform their roles effectively.
Lesson Number Four – Size Does Not Matter

It does not matter the container, it’s the contents that matters. Size does not matter, it’s the purpose that is pivotal. Whether you are tall or short, irrespective of the colour your skin, whether you are curvy or slender, God has a purpose for you. God can use you to make lives better.
Adversity in life is a natural sieve that separates the wheat from the chaff. Be a wheat and not a chaff. Be your authentic self in Him and always focus on fulfilling the purpose of your call. Your assignment on earth is unique to you. No one else could do what you do with Holy Spirit as your Senior Partner. You matter! The world is waiting for you to embrace your purpose and discharge it well as a faithful steward! I am rooting for you!

Till next time, stay rapture ready!
