Proverbs 10:9 – “People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed.” Life is like a maze. So many people walk through the maze of life without clarity about where they would end. Some try to bribe their way out of the challenges of life and lose their souls in the process. What did you trade for your soul?

Mark 8:36 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? What choices are you making to the detriment of your soul? Where would you spend eternity? Why compromise on your values just because of a morsel of meal? Because you want to become “somebody” you made your God ordained destiny a commodity to be bargained with! Your feet are slippery because you are walking on the broadway. The way to destruction.

Narrow is the gate that leads to life. Matthew 7:13-14 Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. You chose to be like the Joneses at all cost simply because you want to “belong”! You knew the covenant you made with God. You tore off the seal a long time ago when you compromise your faith.

Those who walk in integrity walk with confidence. They have nothing to hide because their actions and motives are pure. They make a decision to walk all out for Christ, make a sacrifice to live for Him alone, whatever the costs. They live to die to self daily.

What about you, dear reader? What is your testimony? Are your path straight or crooked? Could Christ count on you or are you slippery? It doesn’t end here, my beloved friend. There is eternity to reckon with. Everything you see here on earth, will end here. One day, the ground you’re walking on now, will become your roof. Genesis 3:19. How will you close your chapter?

Amend your ways if your path is crooked. God loves you and He is waiting for you to come back to Him like the prodigal son. Make a quality decision today because tomorrow is not promised. Tell Jesus, “I have messed up and backslidden on You. I am sorry for all I’ve done to tarnish Your name. I rededicate my life to You today. I turn my life over to You. I give You my heart. Be my Lord and Saviour, from this moment in Jesus name, amen. Selah!
